Aileen Twa

Aileen is a Vancouver based, Edmonton born and raised, fashion designer. She grew up in an extremely creative and artistically minded family, but it was not until her grade twelve year that she began to fall in love with textiles. After a year of deliberation, Aileen decided to venture to Vancouver to pursue her education in Fashion Design and Technology at The Wilson School of Design at  Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

RELIC Atelier, targets women living a slow lifestyle, who are dressing for simple celebrations. These women are conscious consumers and ultimately buy what they love. They like to feel good about the garments they wear. Clothing is meant to be an extension of the wearer, and to be the medium used in telling a story. These custom made pieces are created with a timeless quality that are meant to be kept, appreciated, worn again, and eventually passed on to future generations as family heirlooms.
